Formerly known as Askari Commercial Bank, Askari Bank is one of Pakistan’s largest commercial and retail banks. Owned by Fauji Foundation, the bank was founded in 1991 as a Public Limited Company. The Fauji Group acquired the bank in 2013. Askari Bank provides a wide selection of banking solutions related to personal, business, and Islamic Banking.
Since its inception, the bank has focused on quality of service and inveting in people and technology. The bank has a number of awards and accolades under its belt including “Best Retail Bank in Pakistan” in 2004 and 2005 by The Asian Banker, and the “Best Consumer Internet Bank” award by Global Finance magazine for the years 2002 and 2003.
