Habib Metropolitan Bank, commonly known as HabibMetro, is a Pakistani commercial bank with expansive nationwide operations. Based in Karachi, HabibMetro is a Pakistani subsidiary of the Swiss bank Habib Bank AG Zurich. The bank was founded in 1992 as Metropolitan Bank and became Habib Metropolitan Bank in 2006 when Habib Bank AG Zurich’s Pakistan operations were merged into the Metropolitan Bank.
