MCB is a prominent commercial bank of Pakistan with one of the largest branch operations in the country. Sharing its birth year with Pakistan’s, MCB Bank Limited has a customer base of over 7 million people that it serves through an extensive network of 1,400 branches within and outside Pakistan.
The bank has international presence with branches in Sri Lanka, Bahrain and Dubai. MCB Bank was previously called Muslim Commercial Bank, first established as an Islamic Banking unit for shariah-compliant products. In 2005, the MCB management changed the bank’s name from Muslim Commercial Bank Limited to MCB Bank Limited to venture into the global markets. MCB has its headquarters in Karachi’s popular MCB Tower.
