As Shaukat Khanum is the most biggest Cancer Hospital in Pakistan, it contains complete range of health care facilities. It is formed in 29 December, 1994 and inaugurated by imran khan who is founder, chairman & board of governors. It has number of research centers, laboratories and awareness centers all over Pakistan. Hospital has about 175 laboratories and research centers operating all over the country. Their major task is give awareness to the public about cancer prevention and cure.
